The PayPal Payments app enables your customers to pay your invoices online via PayPal. This is faster and more convenient for your customers, which means that you get paid faster.
After activating the app, you can add PayPal as a payment method to an invoice you are working on. To do so, select it in the "Add payment methods" drop down menu.
You will then be prompted to enter the email address associated with your PayPal account:
Enter it in the field, and select the type of payment you would like. For more information on PayPal's fees and terms, please visit their site.
Please note that PayPal only works for regular invoices, not for recurring invoices. Therefore you will not have the possibility to select PayPal as a payment method on a recurring invoice.
After you have sent the invoice to your customer, their copy will have a "Pay with PayPal" button. This will redirect them to PayPal where they can complete the transaction.
For US and UK users only: You can collect online payments for a flat fee instead of a percentage with PayPal Business Payments. This option is only eligible for domestic payments (the transaction must occur in the same country from PayPal's point of view). Furthermore, it only works when both PayPal accounts have verified bank accounts associated with them. Your customer needs sufficient balance on PayPal or a verified PayPal account, and credit or debit cards are not permitted.
